Good day, all!
Here is my second and final contribution that was accepted for publication in digitink magazine’s fall/winter issue, 2016.
I believe this piece is insightful and touching on multiple levels, because individuals struggle with addiction is something that touches all of our lives at some point or another. Rather its effected someone you call mother, father, a friend– yourself. It’s isn’t a sickness to be taken lightly. Addiction ruins: households, friendships– careers etc… And addiction isn’t exclusive to substance abuse such as alcohol or narcotics, there’s also: gambling, shopping and sex. And my piece ‘The Struggle of Choice’ asks: is it really ones choice to make on his or her own, to quit, to just walk away?

Thank you for your time, I hope you enjoy!

Happy New Year Eisele!!! 🎉✨🎉✨ I read your piece days ago and just kept forgetting to tell you how much I liked it. I liked the way you talk about the choices sometimes not being our own. “Slave to Earthly addiction”
I just wrote something on Saturday that Id like your feedback on. I’ll send it to you 🙂
