I’ve thought about her everyday since her passing and how much her work has changed my life and lives of many who were smart enough to read. Ms. Angelou was a poised and affluent woman and a woman who was confident in herself and her abilities. She recognized that you could never change the past, but how important it is to work hard to make a better future. Ms. Angelou’s contributions to this world won’t soon be forgotten and that is because what she has done and things she has said, have made us all think our actions and how those actions can effect another. And made us feel, feel something ineffable. Thank you Maya Angelou.
