A Boy is hiking through the woods. With his hatchet, with his rope, and his sack. Not truly out for a hunt- it’s much too late in the day. He is unaware, a wolf has been tracking him, possibly he’ll soon be its prey. The boy ambled on, whistling- happy.
The wolf attacked the boy from the side.
The wolf shocked by the boy’s reaction, ‘such fleeting courage,’ it’s thinking.
The wolf took a moment… Looking into the boy’s frozen eyes and says,
“Why allow your surprise to carry you so far off, in such a freightening moment? For if it been you who spotted me first, it is you that would have killed me.”
