Eisele Cunningham

I am collapsed in a meadow.

My imagination shaping the clouds as they course by.

Comfortably cuddling with the grass and dirt.

My true ancestors though we look nothing the alike.

I have rested out here all morning and afternoon.

And I plan to remain in this meadow through the night.

For the sky I face will become very different

Same for the sounds that surround me.

The temperature has changed,

and my body is gracefully adjusting,

Time has grown late and my eyelids are heavy.

And I am excited for the dreams the wanderers(stars) will lend me.

I close: to no breathing man have I ever felt so naturally connected than I do in this moment now.

Just laying here beside the ground.
